I, unfortunately, did not get an opportunity to cover the BCS national championship game down in beautiful Miami. However, I was able to cover the reaction in Titletown, Fla for a Gainesville Sun freelance gig. It was just as crazy as the 2007 basketball and 2006 football championship. Luckily, things did not get out of hand. Here are a few shots from another historic night…

Young, Crazy and Half-Naked

I covered the Great Underwear Dash 7 last night. It was my second time shooting it and the photos were much better than the first. This time, I borrowed a Canon 580 EX II flash with my shoe flash cord.

Rainy Art Show

I covered the Santa Fe Spring Arts Festival in downtown Gainesville on Sunday. The weather kept the crowds down a little. My camera and I nearly got soaked from only being there for less than an hour.

Art shows are a little hard to shoot since it’s practically the same thing everywhere you look. However, the rain made things a little more interesting.

Women’s Rugby Match…Prom Style

I was given an interesting assignment for Saturday. The UF Women’s Rugby Club planned on having a match for charity and it involved old dresses. It’s something that happens annually at UF and it was one that gave an opportunity for good photos.

Ride on an Old Air-o-plane

I was assigned to check out the Gainesville Regional Airport and find a group that is flying old U.S. Navy aircraft. I was a little lost at first, but I found what I was looking for. The non-profit group Flight History actually give people tours.

Baseball II
