Jim Reed and the new Nikon D700

After Nikon surprised me by releasing the two cameras last year – D3 and D300 – that brought way better photo quality than the older models (that’s a lot coming from a Canon fan), the company is releasing another one. Before NikonĀ released the D700 to the general public, severe weather photographer Jim Reed had a chance to play around with it in secrecy (see his blog post). Now, he’s told all and his images from the camera are on Nikon’s website to view. They’re great photos, so check them out (when you get to the page, click on the “enter” box – a window should pop up – then select the “Landscape” tab on the far right).
